Dish is by far the WORST company to…

Dish is by far the WORST company to have and work with. you’re tossing money in the trash 90% of the time. between faulty boxes, obstructed satellites, and poor customer service, your spending more time on the phone than you are watching tv. needless to say, they offer no discounts to you when their channels are out.

Worst moving experience ever

Worst moving experience ever ! I moved to another state when the tech came to hook me back up I was told I had no line of service they would cancel my lease! Well they didn’t said they would have to send another tech out to make sure I wasn’t lying about the first tech not being able to find line of service !! Beyond pissed I will never ever do business with them again !! Fine another company DO Not use dish

Bad company Dish network I have almost…

Bad company Dish network I have almost two years and they promised to fix the problem they have with NBA. I can't see the Playoffs at ease and I can't see my Mavericks team ... 3 more months my contract ends and I leave this company ... very bad

They are the most corrupt cable network…

They are the most corrupt cable network out there. They trick you into signing a two year contract. Then they charge you a 263.00 early termination fee if you have to move. They also take money out of your checking account for something you don't have and didn't agree to. Do yourself a favor and skip this aggrevation. Trust me it's not worth the money you think you will save!!!!!

Dish is getting a 1 only because it's the only way to post a review. My rating is 0000000. My husband is a Service writer at a dealership. Commission based in pay. Recently numerous mechanics and Service manger all came down with Covid-19. Work was coming in but couldn't get done due very limited mechanics. My husband recent paycheck reflected $600 with 3 major bills due plus I suffer from severe chronic pain I do pain treatment to help. We got extension on our other bills but Dish refused to extend our payment 2 days. I had to cancel a pain treatment also because of lack of funds. Dish is SO IMPORTANT it has to have it's money my bill was due on 16th all we were asking was to extend it till Friday Match 19th. They said NO! COVID-19 still EXIST PEOPLE. So I have to completely empty out my checking account for Dish. The CIRCUMSTANCES were COMPLETELY out of his control but DISH doesn't care. There equipment is CRAPPY there CUSTOMER SERVICE is EXTREMELY LOUSY! We have 2 SMART TV's know this has lit a fire under us to Get rid of DISH! This company is a Lousy piece of Trash. When you call customer service you get some dump idiot that can't understand English or speak it.

Unhappy

I had been with dish for 4 in a half years. My only real issues was the pricing and changing the channels that I had in my package yearly. I chose to cancel my account and go with a competitor when my price went up as it does yearly. I called to cancel my service and they customer support team member suggested that I pause my Dish for 3 months and then if I still wanted to cancel then I wouldn't be charged the $15 return fee. I went ahead and paused it. After 3 months I chose to cancel. When I called in I talked to a differnt representative and after he tried to convince me to stay he informed me that I would be paying a $15 dollar return fee. I informed him that I had already had this conversation with the previous representative and that he assured me that the fee would be waved. He told me that there is no record of that and I would be paying the fee and he couldn't do anything about it.
Edit* I called in again and talked to yet another different representative and she was able to remove the charge and sent a return box.

I am cancelling my Dish TODAY!

I am cancelling my Dish TODAY!! The day of the superbowl they get rid of CBS. Money hungry company that does not care about their customers.
In the middle of a pandemic they take away the only normalcy we have. F them

Dish has the WORST customer service…

Dish has the WORST customer service that I've ever had to deal with. The billing system is completely a mess. I have 4 more months with them and I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I'd leave 0 stars if I could! Horrible

Horrible when disconnecting service

Horrible when disconnecting service. Asked how much to turn off service and paid. Then sent equipment back, they kept calling I kept telling them equipment had been returned. Then turned over to collections. Finally I sent in a bad BBB review and I got a different number to call, he asked for tracking number. Ok we have the equipment, sorry. Then they had the gall to say I still owe them money.
RUN FAST don’t buy from Dish.

Not even worth one star

Not even worth one star. My two years is now over and my bill went up over 40%, and they refuse to work with me after repeated attempts to contact them, being put on hold and then getting disconnected. Dish is charging me $15 month for the Hopper, $12 a month for local stations, $9.99 a month for a protection plan for their equipment that I'm renting for $15 a month. And their 200 channel plan is now $104 a month. And so on and so forth. Should have never left DirectTV. Was with them for over 40 years. Dish promised so much, and have turned out to be nothing but a lie.... I guess I'll bite the bullet and go back to DirectTV.....

Don't be conned by how good DISH is.

If I had any other choice I would unsubscribe from DISH.
We lost ABC for a while but still got charged for its access.
We often do not get the Steeler or even the Penn State games. Told its blacked out in our area. Why so since we are the only college team near us that is televised. We are told the Steeler blackout is due to a conflict with Baltimore Ravens schedule. They are Maryland, we are Pennsylvania.
Over 90% of the shows are repeats over and over. Add to that most are half show and half commercial.
They provide nothing but only serve their own pocketbooks. I live in the mountain foothills so antenna's are useless. No cable either.
